EXPERIENCE

One More Game | SWAPMEAT

Game Design

  • Designed twenty-five rogue-like missions that utilize distinct player abilities and maximize replayability through procedural variation.

  • Invented six sets of “Path Decks”– a novel map-traversal system ensuring unique route possibilities on each spawn. 

  • Collaborated cross-functionally with Narrative team to script and implement event and story dialogue. 

  • Led design of onboarding missions that teach players roguelike core mechanics for upcoming boss encounters.

Slime Heroes

Level Design

  • Constructed three world levels and ten puzzle dungeons, balancing exploration, challenge, and pacing.

  • Iterated on game mechanics, enemy AI behaviors, and player ability design to improve overall game feel. 

  • Created four new enemy types, unique enemy abilities, and three boss encounters, including the final boss.

  • Implemented Co-Op multiplayer systems and resolved gameplay-impacting bugs.

Narrative Design

  • Authored the full game script, developing character voices, dialogue trees, and story beats.

  • Engineered and integrated a multilingual narrative system supporting multiple languages for global release.

  • Maintained comprehensive localization documentation and managed all in-game UI text.

Level Design

  • Constructed 2D Tabletop levels and world maps bi-weekly

  • Incorporated new challenges, puzzles and missions in the levels to encourage player teamwork

Narrative Design

  • Created essential storyboarding and interesting narratives to outline the project’s gameplay

  • Designed diverse character concepts and narrated individual character dialogue

Creative Director

  • Designed and mapped out five distinct game levels, progressing from concept through white-box.

  • Implemented three Completed levels in-engine, fine-tuning layout, player guidance cues, and environmental storytelling. 

  • Iterated on encounter design to improve game feel and intuitiveness. 

  • Prototyped and built core gameplay mechanics that defined the game’s foundational design. 

Narrative Design

  • Wrote the complete game script and coded all narrative dialogue lines in game.

  • Directed Voice Acting sessions and implemented all recorded voice lines.
